Technical Specifications
Specifications apply to boards above 20mm or 25/32” or thicker

Definition:
The “A” Grade is defined as having
the following specifications:

DEFECT	TOLERANCE
MOISTURE CONTENT	Certified at 8% - 11% at shipping point
GAPS IN GLUE LINES	Not permitted
GAPS IN LAMINATIONS	Not permitted
THICKNESS VARIATIONS	Limited to +1mm of designated thickness; Less than designated thickness is not permitted

STABILITY
• Bow (deflection along length of board)	1/4” maximum measured at center of 6-foot board
• Cup (deflection over width of board)	1/16” maximum measured at center of 15” board
• Twist (deflection in both directions)	Not permitted

COLOR VARIATIONS	It is recognized that Bamboo is a natural product and as such will have some natural color variation. Good appearance is of prime concern and all effort is made to provide boards of good appearance.

Definition:
The “B” Grade is defined as materials that fall outside
the above specifications.
All shipments are allowed some “B” Grade. If only “A” Grade
is required, then please add a minimum of 5% overage to satisfy
your project requirements.

Packaging:	2 PANELS PER PACKAGE - 5 and 6 ply
	4 PANELS PER PACKAGE - 3 and 4 ply
